Margarita Meyendorff will read from her memoir DP Displaced Person.
Russian music will be performed by Tamara Volskaya, Anatoly Trofimov and
Leonid Bruk. A wine and cheese reception will follow.

The evening will begin with complimentary Russian hors d’oevres (zakuski – Russian for an excuse to drink vodka). Joining me will be David Temple, a classical guitarist who has performed throughout the country as a soloist, an accompanist and an ensemble player. He will play Russian music to create the St. Petersburg Russian salon atmosphere. Nina Shengold, author of the novel, Clearcut, and a founding member of Actors and Writers, will read an original piece with a Russian flair. Laura Shaine Cunningham, author of two acclaimed memoirs, Sleeping Arrangements and A Place in the Country, will read from her new memoir entitled Forbidden Russia. I will read from my recently published memoir, DP Displaced Person which will be available for sale at the Café. A book signing will close the evening. If you bought DP Displaced Person on Amazon, bring it with you and I will be happy to sign it.
